Beauty is not perfection
I find that too often, we lose not only our confidence, but also ourselves, simply in an attempt to force the people around us to see our beauty. But rather than impressing people, we are achieving the opposite, by falling into the stream of normality, but who shines that way? No one, in all of the history of mankind, was ever adored by every person they ever met, so why do we spend so much time trying to accomplish the impossible. Let’s accept the inevitable, perfection is impossible, but beauty isn’t. Let’s not try to change ourselves to make other people happy, but instead be our truest selves, confident in our strengths and comfortable in our imperfection, and if nothing else, at least we will know our own beauty.
